All scores must be texted by the winning team to Dean at this number. Failure to report a game score will result in a 7-7 tie being entered.
Tournament Rules
ASA with the following modifications:
- Mercy rules: 12, 10, and 8 after 3, 4, and 5 innings.
- All pool play games will be “drop dead” at 80 minutes. (see Drop Dead rules below for clarification) 80 Minutes finish the inning on Sunday. Sunday championship games is full 7 innings.
- In the event of rain, we will work to make a modified schedule so the tournament can be completed.
- Time limit procedure: once the last out is made in an inning, the new inning starts at that time.
- Double coin flip before each game in pool play. In elimination, higher seed has choice.
- Teams may bat the entire roster and have free substitution during pool play only. DP/Flex is allowed during pool play in addition to an EP.
Pool Play Games
- All pool games will be 80 min, drop dead. If home team takes the lead in the inning, they win if time expires. If time expires when a batter is up, the batter finishes the at bat. If home team ties the game when time expires it is a tie. If visiting team is leading and the home team does not finish their at bat, the score reverts back to the previous inning score.
- Teams may bat the entire roster and have free substitution during pool play only. DP/Flex is allowed during pool play in addition to an EP.
- A double coin flip will determine the home team. This will be done at the pre-game conference.
- Games can end in a tie during pool play.
- Time limit procedure: once the last out is made in an inning, the new inning starts at that time.
- Mercy rules: 12 after 3, 10 after 4, and 8 after 5 innings.
- In the event of rain, we will work to make a modified schedule so the tournament can be completed but it is not guaranteed.
- As of 8:30 pm Saturday, all scores will be considered accurate and will be used to create the Sunday brackets
Sunday Bracket Games
- Saturday’s pool play results will determine seeding into Sunday’s single elimination tournament.
- In the event of a tie in pool, seeding will be based off the following: Win/loss record, Head to head score, Runs allowed
- Higher seed has choice for home/away and this will be decided at pre-game conference.
- Bracket games are 80 min, finish the inning.
- A winner is needed, should there be a tie at the 80-minute mark, the teams will go directly into the international tie breaker.
- Time limit procedure: once the last out is made in an inning, the new inning starts at that time.
- Championship games will be 7 innings or run rule, whichever comes first.
- Mercy rules: 12 after 3, 10 after 4, and 8 after 5 innings.
- In the event of rain, we will work to make a modified schedule so the tournament can be completed.
