About Us

The Northeast Hurricanes Softball Club was created in 2005  as an  organization committed to providing talented and motivated players opportunities to train and compete at the highest level possible. Started by Dean Borrelli (8-year professional baseball catcher) who when  around for opportunities for his daughters to prepare to play in college. After finding no such team or program in the area, he decided to created such a team.

Once his daughter left to play DII college softball, Dean went on to build this idea into a program that could provide an exceptional training experience for all capable and motivated youth baseball and softball players looking for just such a thing. After first growing the original Salem, NH location into the most successful youth sports program in New England, the program grew to enable players from different areas to benefit from our thorough year-round player development program.

What started as a single team grew to a 3-location, 45+ team organization who has dominated the local softball scene ever since. The program is led by instructors with exceptional qualifications. These former professional baseball players and collegiate softball players teach, coach, and instruct players year-round. Our professional training and coaching staff developed curriculums for each season that enable all teams in all locations to receive exceptional standardized training.

As a result of providing the highest quality training and competition, we have  placed a multitude of players into the college baseball and softball ranks, proudly watching them continue to play beyond our program.
